BWSSB disconnection drive continues

  Continuing its disconnection drive, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewage Board (BWSSB) on Wednesday disconnected as many as 73 unauthorised connections, issued 92 notices and recovered  dues of Rs 13.98 lakh.

In J J Nagar and Salappa Layout, the Board executed eight disconnections, issued notices to eight houses and recovered Rs 9,47,000. In Poornaprajna area, 10 disconnections were made and 10 notices were issued and an amount of Rs 55,000 was recovered as dues.

In Sampangiramanagar,  Cubbonpet area, three disconnections were made and
Rs 1,62,689 was recovered. In Murphy Town, Jogupalya and Ulsoor areas, the Board made seven disconnections and recovered Rs 81,000.

11 disconnections

In Bagalagunte, MEI Layout area, 11 disconnections were carried out and Rs 82,000 was recovered.

In Malleswaram, Vyalikaval, Palace Guttalli and Ranganathapura, 20 disconnections were executed and Rs 50,000 was recovered.

Seven disconnections were made in the east sub-division and 40 notices were issued in the west sub-division.

In the north-west sub division, the Water Board executed eight disconnections and issued a total of 14 notices against the violators.
