<p>India Cements skipper R Ashwin was smashed for 69 runs in 12 wicketless overs even as his India team-mate Piyush Chawla grabbed six wickets to guide Chemplast to a 79-run win over India Cements in the final of the BCCI Corporate Trophy here on Friday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Chawla’s six for 32 helped Chemplast dismiss India Cements for 188 in 45.1 overs in reply to the former’s total of 267 for seven.<br /><br />Opting to bat, Chemplast rode on a hundred from Rajagopal Sathish (105) to post a competitive total in their quota of 50 overs. Sathish hit 13 fours and two sixes in his 123-ball knock. He was ably supported by Ajay Kudva (58), who hit six boundaries and a six.<br /><br />Pacer Yo Mahesh was most successful bowler for his side and finished with figures of 4-53 in his 10 overs. Chasing a victory target of 268, India Cements lost two wickets in the first over of their innings with Arun Karthik and S Badrinath both dismissed for ducks by seamer Sandeep Sharma.<br /><br />India Cements were tottering at 77 for six when Vijay Shankar (67) joined Ashwin (36) at the crease.
