Misuse of money by Bescom official

 
Jaishankar, the accused, was working as a cashier at the office. Police said that for the past six months the official had been depositing only a part of the money paid by the consumers to the bank. The cashiers need to deposit the money collected to the banks on a daily basis. However Jaishankar would  deposit only a part of the money to the banks.

The official has been absconding from three days. Senior Bescom officials have undertaken an inquiry into the incident.  A case has been registered by the police.
