The land distributed to Dalits at Arashinaguppe, Hosapete, Vasthare, Anooru, Thoranamavu, Halasumane, Koteyurur villages have been encroached. The land belonging to Dalits must be handed over to them. The 27.17 per cent funds earmarked in urban local bodies have not been utilised properly. Lot of misappropriation has taken place in Ashraya, Ambedkar scheme, Shari Rojgar Yojane in the district, they alleged.
The building of the hostels run by social welfare departments are in dilapidated condition. Government must construct new buildings for the hostels.
