BWSSB staff want AEE dismissed

Members of Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Employees’ Association, on Thursday, staged a protest against S Sudhir, assistant executive engineer (AEE), for alleged use of political influence for personal gain.

The members urged BWSSB chairperson to dismiss Sudhir at once for he did not serve the Board even for a single day.

Association president Rudre Gowda alleged Sudhir was deputed as an engineer to BWSSB from Karnataka State Power Corporation (KSPC) in 2008 with the then chief minister’s influence.

“Though he was on the Board’s payroll and used its vehicle, he did not work for the BWSSB even for a single day. Instead he worked as a secretary at the chief minister’s office. 

He was even allocated a ‘G’ category site by the then chief minister after denotification,” he added.

In addition to being absorbed into the Board in 2009, he was also promoted as an AEE in 2010, said Rudre Gowda.
