<p>Former Krishnaraja MLA M K Somashekar on Friday lodged a complaint of violation of election code of conduct against Medical Education and district in-charge minister S A Ramdas, to the State Election Commission.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Somashekar lodged a complaint with Naveen Raj Singh poll observer for the district, at Government Guest House in the City. <br /><br />He produced name plates, wrist watches and shawls distributed by the supporters of his political bete noire, as evidences to the observer. <br /><br />Somashekar also brought it to the notice of the observer that freebies were being distributed in view of the forthcoming urban local body (ULB) polls scheduled for March 7. <br /><br />Action<br /><br />Singh is learnt to have promised to initiate action only after probing into the complaint. <br />Somashekar was accompanied by Mysore and Kodagu MP A H Vishwanath, Narasimharaja MLA Tanveer Sait and former mayor Vasu.</p>
