Ashok Nagar police received a number of complaints against Nirvana Info Tech Pvt Ltd and its Delhi-based directors - Sandeep Jagi, Karthik Sahai and Jayant Adhikari - all in their mid twenties. Police said, the company, which was set up three months ago, had hired expensive telecommunications equipment. Without giving any notice, the directors vacated the office premises and took away equipment with worth around Rs 30 lakh. The company also owes about Rs 6 lakh to Vinayaka Travels.
Sources said, the directors were in financial mess after their Australian counterparts let them down. The company had orders on hand when it started. Police have secured one of the employees for questioning. At least 40 employees were sent on leave, a fortnight ago.
