Former Australian batsman Matthew Hayden praised Shikhar Dhawan’s magnificent hundred on debut and feels that the innings will be spoken about for a long time.
“This 100 of Dhawan will be spoken about for a very long time. The new brand of India has arrived!!! Great to witness history in Mohali. Dhawan’s 100 is the fastest Test 100 by any debutant. Amazing performance!” Hayden wrote on his twitter page.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan said: “Dhawan’s homework of the Aussie bowlers seems to have worked........”
