Photo exhibition on floods in north Karnataka region

He was speaking after inaugurating the photo exhibition, depicting the devastation caused by floods, organised by the Information department at the DC office premises.

“The photos, which show us the extent of the devastation, is heartrending. I hope many more people will come forward to extend support and contribute to the relief fund being collected by the district administration,” he said.

Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat G V Rangarao, District Superintendent of Police K P Puttaswamy were also present on the occasion.

For the convenience of the public, the exhibition, which comprises a total of 116 photographs, will be set up at the new KSRTC bus terminal on
October 24.

The photo exhibition will be open from 11 am to 5 pm on that day, a press release from the Information Department here on Friday said.
