Only 50 to 60 MW of power is being supplied to the Kolar circle as against the demand of 150 MW. Due to this huge gap in supply and demand, farmers and public at large are put into hardship.
He has lleged that the BJP government is adopting a step-motherly attitude in providing facilities to the district. District in-charge minister has not been appointed so far as a result of which there is no one to hear the pleas of the people, the statement said.
