As many as 150 “scholars” will be selected through competitive examination to award monthly scholarship of Rs 7,500. The examinations will be held in both Kannada and English.
Students in the age group of 18 to 23 years and pursuing masters degree are eligible to apply. The exam will be held on Jan 10, 2010.
Interested can approach the head of respective institutions or the lead bank in the City for more information. Oct 28 is the last date for submitting completed application, said Lead Bank Manager, Thimmappa, said in a release.
