<p>Medical Education and district in-charge minister S A Ramdas, who is BJP candidate for Krishnaraja constituency is facing rejection from the Brahmin community -- the community he represents.<br /><br /></p>.<p>At a press meet here on Wednesday, K Raghuram, President of District Brahmana Mahasabha, said that the Brahmin community of K R constituency would be unanimously supporting KJP candidate H V Rajeeva. “We will not support Ramdas, who has neglected the community after 2008 Assembly elections,” he added. <br /><br />He said that the community, which forms a majority in the constituency are upset with Ramdas’s “arrogance”. <br /><br />“The community in the constituency has strived for Ramdas’s victory for over two decades, but it has been neglected thereafter. Our problems have not been addressed by him,” he added. <br /><br />He even alleged that Ramdas had threatened him and other leaders of the community not to conduct the press meet. <br /><br />P N Srinath, Vice-president of the Mahasabha said that the assurances given by Ramdas had not materialised, because of which, the community had decided to support Rajeeva. <br />Nataraj Jois, member of Mahasabha said that their decision would not be changed. <br /></p>
