The deputy commissioners should issue the election notification on November 3,2009. Nominations will have to be filed within November 10. They will be scrutinised on the next day, and November 13 is the last date for withdrawal of the nomination.
The election, if found necessary, will be held on November 22. Counting of votes will be held at a taluk centre on November 23. The entire election process shall have to be completed within November 26.
In addition to this, the election to Saragur Town Panchayat in Mysore district has also been notified, according to the release by State Election Commission.
