When North met South

The actress along with the others enjoyed her lunch breaks during the shooting of the film.

“It had become a routine for the whole unit to have its lunch together. So much so that even Salman Khan would share his home-made food that he used to carry on the sets with the unit members,” said a friend of Asin.

Asin loved Salman’s home-cooked chicken. “Asin enjoyed gorging on it. Infact, Asin would also carry food from home sometimes. The dal that her mother made had become famous on the sets. It was quite strange that even Punjabi boys would long to have the South Indian dal. In fact, the entire unit relished the dal that Asin brought on the sets. The lunch time looked like a class reunion. Everybody would joke and have fun,” said the friend.
