JOIN USMP Swamy was unanimously re-elected chairman of the Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA) in the Annual General Body meeting and election held on Sunday.
ST Bhoopal was re-elected as the secretary while R Ramakrishna will remain the treasurer of the association for a two-year period -- 2013-2015. A total of 15 members were unanimously elected to the managing committee.
Returning Officer MR Ranganath had received 18 nominations to the managing committee after which three nominees - Appaji, Devoo and Michael - withdrew their nominations on June 24, last date for withdrawing the nominations.
