Sinan, Mathias spur President's to big win

President’s XI converted their overwhelming dominance over Raichur Zone to a massive innings and 108-run win on the second and final day of the under-25 SA Srinivasan Memorial Trophy match at the IISC ground here on Friday.

Having established a 232-run lead overnight President’s didn’t delay the declaration, ending their innings at 329 for three. Raichur had been bowled out for 97 on Thursday.
The move fetched the desired result as medium pacer David Mathias (4/44) and leg-spinner Sinan Abdul Khadeer (4/43) wrecked havoc, sharing eight wickets among them to dismiss Raichur for 124 in 42.4 overs. Raj Kumar (63) offered a token resistance for Raichur with a fifty, but there wasn’t support for him from the other end.
