Age no bar for Demi and Ashton

She may be credited with sparking a boom in the number of women seeking young lovers. But Hollywood star Demi Moore says she doesn’t understand how she has become a poster girl for cross-generational relationships. The 46-year-old star, who is married to actor Ashton Kutcher who is 15 years younger to her told a magazine, “I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster.” She added, “I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?’,” Moore added.
Moore’s marriage to Kutcher has been reportedly instrumental in causing a surge in women looking to date a younger man. In 2005, just eight per cent of single women in their 40s and 50s said they would date a man five or more years their junior. Today, more than a third say they would consider a younger man, according to a popular online dating service.
Despite the age gap, Moore, who is a mother of three, said she and Kutcher (31), are still very much in love. “Now we’ve had the physical time together. The love he has for me makes me a better person by giving me the courage to take risks. I can fail and have someone who loves me just the same.”

Mallika meets Depp

Mallika Sherawat was the special guest at legendary crooner Tom Waits’ daughter Kellisimone’s art opening in Santa Monica recently, before being honoured at a private dinner in the Pacific Palisades by industry heavyweights.
At the art gallery, Miss Sherawat was seen hobnobbing with American star Johnny Depp, who told the bold beauty that he's “looking forward to seeing Hisss.” Mallika quips, “It was a great pleasure meeting one of America's greatest actors. He's even better looking in person and to top it all, he told me that he is really looking forward to watching the Hisss’ trailer. I'm sure it'll give him sleepless nights!”
Decked out in in a stylish black gown, Mallika particularly enjoyed the artwork of Miss Waits whose current political theme highlighted world politicians in compromising positions. News of Mallika’s new American film project was recently announced, a romantic comedy set in the world of American politics, entitled Love, Barack.
Also seen with Miss Sherawat at the art opening was Hollywood studio director Jesse Dylan, who is developing another new mainstream commercial American film for the Indian star.


Aniston turns singer for a play

Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston showed off her singing skills in a star-studded theatre event. The former Friends’ star signed up to appear in The 24-Hour Plays, a series of six short works which are written, rehearsed and performed in just one day.
The gruelling task gives all the actors less than 12 hours to polish their performance    before the curtain goes up.
Aniston appeared in          Ramen Noodle alongside Brooke Shields. The pretty actress showed off her vocal ability with a rendition of  Beatles’ classic Yellow Submarine.
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Sam Rockwell   and Julia Stiles also appeared in the short plays.


Stalker saga

The ever-smiling and cute actress Minissha Lamba is in deep worry these days. And its because of some random stalker, who is making life difficult for her. The petite actress has been getting lewd messages and threatening calls for many days now.
However, Minissha did not want to make this issue a big one and hence, ignored his calls and got his number blocked on her cell.
But her troubles didn’t end here, the stalker started calling her from different numbers. And when she overlooked his calls, he stated sending lewd messages and threatening her. Unable to handle the stress and the troubles posted by the stalker, she initially filed a non-cognisable complaint (NC) on November 5 at a police station.
When it still continued, the actress went on to file an FIR. On further investigation, the man turned out to be a serial stalker who had harassed many B-Town beauties and also a star wife.
Now the police officers are cracking down on the case and hoping to take strict actions against the stalker. Hope that the pretty actress’ problems end soon and she starts smiling again.
