'Metric mela helps develop personality'

She was speaking at the taluk level metric mela for the higher and lower primary school,  organised at the Chikkanayakanahalli Government High School on the occasion of Children's day celebration.

Students will gain practical knowledge about maths which they learn inside the classroom through the mela she said. It will also help to build the personality of the child she added.
Legislator S B Suresh Babu spoke on the occasion. Taluk Panchayat president K G Mallikarjunaiah, Town Municipal Council President C S Ramesh, BEO B J Prabhuswamy, District Primary School Teachers’ Association president R Parashivamurthy, Taluk president Suresh, Block Co-ordination Officer Siddaraju and others were present.

Legislator S R Srinivas inaugurated the  cluster-level metric mela in Kadaba. He said that the mela helps the child to develop the feeling of self reliance.

Zilla panchayat vice-president K C Krishnamurthy observed that financial discipline in  private life helps in building nation.
