Confessions of a style diva

She is known for her candid talks. Her statement on a television show has created controversies. No one quite beats Sonam Kapoor when it comes to being outspoken. After giving many flop films, the style diva says that now she knows what not to do in her future films.

“I look at the movies in the past and know what not to do. With all due respect, I want to give Katrina Kaif a bouquet of flowers.” Sonam adds, “I don’t know how she does it. You need a certain kind of commitment and a certain kind of shamelessness to do certain things and you get that maybe with stardom, with confidence in your talent, with who you are as a person, and I need to develop that before I do that kind of films — over-the-top films. I need to learn how to do it as I have been terrible in those movies.”

The actress’ last film Raanjhanaa starring South Indian actor Dhanush has
received a mixed response at the box office. Though Sonam and Dhanush have been
acclaimed for their performances in the movie, it has not created wonders with profits.

Meanwhile, if sources are to be believed, the actress is open to working on small screen. Her actor-father Anil Kapoor is the producer of the Hindi version of the American television
series ‘24’.
