Prathima through to round two

Prathima occupied 19th spot with an average of 200.46 to book her second round berth when the field was cut to 24 bowlers.

The Karnataka bowler took the fifth place among Asian players in a field of 66.
Prathima started off slowly with 175 but then found her rhythm to score 210, 218, 192, 188, 194, 203 and 244 in the final eight games of the 24-game first round that was spread over three days.

Zara Giles of England leads the table closely followed by Siti Safiya Amirah of Malaysia.
The top 24 bowlers will bowl another block of eight games after which the field will be pruned to eight bowlers who would play each other for the title.
