<p>A youth was crushed by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) on Dr Rajkumar Road in the early hours of Sunday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to police, a speeding SUV mowed down Rajesh (24), who was riding a two-wheeler. Passersby shifted him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. The driver of the SUV fled the spot with the vehicle.<br /><br />Rajesh, a resident of Rajajinagar, was working as a delivery boy with a courier company in Malleswaram. He was returning home when the accident occurred.<br /><br />CCTV footage<br /><br />A senior police officer said that they were scrutinising the CCTV footage at some junctions on Dr Rajkumar Road to identify the vehicle which caused the accident.<br /><br />He declined to say whether the vehicle has been identified. Rajajinagar traffic police have registered a case.</p>
