JOIN USThe Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been honoured with the prestigious Apollo Commercial Vehicle (CV) award, 2014 for its passenger-friendly practices and traffic operations. With this, the Corporation is the country’s best public fleet operator of the year.
Among the 56 State Transport undertakings in the country, KSRTC is the only undertaking that has made profit in the year 2013-14 by operating 8,400 buses.
The jury committee has lauded the efforts of the Corporation for adopting good administration strategies during the period when there was steep increase in diesel prices and yet managed to make profits. Nextgen CV, a very popular magazine in automobile industry, had recently organised the award’s programme at Mumbai. N Manjunatha Prasad, Managing Director, KSRTC received the award from Mini Harisson, Vice President, Zee Media.
