Aiyappa proves the ace in the pack

Aiyappa’s five-wicket haul set up ACE Cricketers’ four-wicket win in a low-scoring encounter against Lions Cricket Club’s in the YS Ramaswamy memorial trophy tournament here.

Aiyappa claimed five for 15 as Lions were rolled over for a modest 114 in 28.3 overs. In reply, ACE Cricketers made a heavy weather of the small target, reaching 115 for six in 21.5 overs. Yash top-scored for the winners with 46.

In another match, Vijaya CC lost to Jaidur Cricketers by six wickets.
