School van mows down toddler

A two-and-a-half-year-old boy was mowed down by a speeding school van in Anjanadri Layout, Banasawadi, on Monday evening. 

The boy has been identified as Indrajeet Shah, the only son of Bahadur Shah from Bihar, a construction wordker in City. The family lived in a makeshift shed at an under-construction site in Anjanadri Layout.

On Monday evening as the toddler was playing in front of the shed, a speeding school van of Daughters of St Mary of Providence School in the area ran over him, killing him on the spot. Banasawadi Traffic Police have arrested the driver of the van Peter John.
