Datta procession peaceful

Youths holding Bhagavadhwaja were dancing to the beatings of thamate and were shouting ‘Datta Maharaj ki jai.’ The procession which commenced from Kamadhenu Ganapathy temple passed through I G Road and culminated at Bolarameshwara temple.

The Shobhayathre had folk teams like dance dolls, Keelu kudure, Nandi, Pooja kunitha, Veeragase, Dollukunitha, Shivana nrithya which was a centre of attraction. Venkateshwara Kala Thanda team’s kolata and bhajan attracted the attention of all.

Bajrang Dal convener Sooryanarayana, joint convener Mandya Manjunath, VHP Prantha co-ordinator Keshav Hegde, MLA C T Ravi, former MLA V Sunil Kumar, BJP President M S Bhoje Gowda were present.
