“They had secret alliances during the previous Assembly and parliamentary elections. But this time they have openly gone for alliances,” he said. Addressing party workers after the BJP District President M S Bhojegowda filed his nomination papers for the Council elections on Monday, Ravi said the JD(S) and the Congress are afraid of the BJP. Bhojegowda expressed his confidence of winning the elections. He said his priority will be roads, drinking water and welfare of farmers. MLAs Jeevaraj, Suresh, Kumaraswamy, leaders Pranesh, Rajappa, Premkumar, Venugopal were present.
