The KR Puram police on Sunday arrested three African nationals on Sunday who were allegedly peddling drugs in the City. The arrested are Frank Nwadueze, 26, Anthony Egwuoba, 31, both from Nigeria and Jamillah, 22, from Uganda. The police have seized heroin and cocaine worth Rs 10 lakh from them. The trio were residing in TC Palya in the City on a business visa which is valid till 2014.
On Sunday, police received a tip-off that the trio were peddling drugs near Anandapura circle, following which they rushed to the spot and nabbed them. They seized 23 grams of cocaine and 107 gram of heroin from them.
Police said that the arrested were involved in peddling drugs to students near colleges. A case has been registered by the KR Puram police.
