JOIN USPantaloons, the retail store, has opened its new store on MG Road, on a 17,000 sq ft sprawling space. The latest line has something for everyone – men, women and kids.
In addition to launching its Spring-Summer line, the brand has three new private brands exclusively for men, infants and plus size individuals. These brands include ‘Byford’, a British country-inspired sport lifestyle brand for men originating from London and ‘Alto Moda’, which targets plus sized individuals.
Talking specifically about what the brand has in store this season, Nagesh C, head – design and visual merchandising, Pantaloons Fashion and Retail Ltd, said, “Our collections are conceptualised to pamper the young with a wide range of stylish and elegant apparel.
Our objective is to create a complete look with suggestive ensembles and appropriate accessories.” He further stated that the focus this season is definitely on silhouettes and they concentrate on creating cuts that are largely Indian in its design and content. Talking a little more about the collection, Nagesh said, “There’s a western line for women with a thrust on evening wear which is contemporary in its look and feel. There is an enviable range of summer dresses.”
Choreographer Sheetal Sharma, who put the fashion show together, said that she was inspired by the bright and beautiful collection. “The collection is youth-centric and apt for summer. The fit is perfect and we also have a wide range of accessories to choose from. Everything is practical and extremely wearable,” she observed.
