<p>The power generation at the Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) came down by 400 MW as units 3 and 8 developed technical glitch on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>RTPS executive director C Venugopal told mediapersons that the bearing at the unit 3 and the boiler in the unit 8 have developed technical snag, while unit 5 has issues related to cooling. <br /><br />While it requires a week’s time to repair unit 3, unit 8 would be operational by Wednesday, Venugopal said. The RTPS at present generates 1,100 MW.</p>
