<div>India’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has launched three digital banking facilities for the convenience of SBI customers.<div> </div><div>SBI will offer customers the facility to open accounts and avail of housing loans at their doorsteps through ‘Tab Banking’.</div><div><br />The third service is e-KYC (Know your Customer). </div><div> </div><div>Sales staff will visit customers in their homes and use tablets to get formalities like details of KYC and photographs of applicant for completed for account opening, a SBI statement said on Tuesday. </div><div> </div><div>Customer information will be loaded onto the bank’s centralised database and account numbers will be sent through SMS/e-mail. SBI will also offer TAB banking facility at the place of the housing loan applicant, for in-principle approval of home loan. </div><div> </div><div>SBI also announced launch of e-KYC services on Tuesday.</div><div> </div><div>Under this facility, e-KYC certificate will be generated as an identity document.</div><div> </div><div>Fingerprints of the customer will be captured and sent to UIDAI for authentication of identity and address proof.</div><div> </div><div>The certificate will be used to open an account subject to satisfying other account opening requirements.</div></div>
