A tough battle of talents

It was an extra special moment for Shreya Krishnan on ‘Mother’s Day’, when she was announced Bangalore’s ‘Super Mom 2’ winner.

Acknowledging the importance of mothers, Mantri Square had organised the grand finale of the second edition of its talent hunt ‘Bangalore’s Super Mom’ recently. 

In a nail-biting finish to the finale, Shreya was judged Bangalore’s ‘Super Mom’ and  Anu Basavaraju and Srividhya Gokhle were declared as first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. 

    The winners stole the show with their stunning performances. It was an amazing sight to see the huge crowd cheering loud for the Super Moms.

The winners were judged by Snehal Mantri, Nisha Millet, Namrata G and Pavitra Halakti. 

It was a tough decision for the judges to pick the best in a neck-to-neck competition. The Super Mom contest was designed as a platform to provide an opportunity for Bangalore mothers to showcase their talents and multi-tasking abilities in today’s competitive world.

The contest witnessed mothers from different walks of life actively stepping forward to showcase their flair to the world. 

In the preliminary rounds, over 150 contestants were evaluated on the basis of a written test designed by a psychologist on a mix of interesting topics. The selected contestants got an opportunity to be part of grooming and personality development workshops.

The 15 semi-finalists went further and competed with each other in Ikebana round, multi-tasking round and debates on various topics at focussed on creativity and situation handling.

To honour the enthusiasm and the remarkable performance of Super Moms, the talent hunt awarded interesting titles like ‘Brainy Mom’, ‘Creative Mom’, ‘Efficient Mom’ and ‘Best Speaker’.
