He can win provided the JD(S) supports. <br /><br />The BJP may field Union Minister of State Nirmala Sitharaman as the candidate. The State party leaders’ wish of fielding Prabhakar Kore may not materialise, it is said. <br /><br />In the case of the Council elections, the Congress can easily win four seats. There are too many aspirants for the seats, including KPCC chief G Parameshwara. <br /><br />Parameshwara and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had held two rounds of meetings for the selection of candidates.
