The latest collection from Max is alive and happening and here to capture young minds. The ‘Summer’14’ collection features bright tropical colours and an exotic foliage of graphic animal prints. The theme of the clothes is ‘holiday’, reflecting the sun, surf and sea. The cool shades of blue and sun-bleached denim shorts in the men’s collection are sure to catch the eye.

Right in time

The ‘Summer’14’ collection reflects the spirit of the season. Bright, bold and cheerful colours celebrate the holiday spirit in these new styles. The collection is a sensuous combination of style and comfort clothing paired with impeccable accessories and footwear for the perfect summer look.

“The ‘Summer’14’ collection is inspired by the nostalgic‘A Day to Remember’ concept that mirrors the spirit of the pleasant memories and holiday mood that kicks in every summer. The new range captures the unplanned journeys and exciting travels during the season,” says Shekar Chathapuram, president of buying, Max. He adds that the collection comes in bright, bold and cheerful tropical colours and cuts in a repertoire of shorts, skirts, jumpsuits, tops and summer dresses, along with accessories and footwear.

Shekar says, “Every year, Max strives to follow the latest trends and styles in an attempt to provide our customers with the best of fashion for the entire family.”

The collection is broadly divided into three sections — women’s wear, men’s wear and kids’ wear. The women’s collection consists Boho-inspired prints paired with minimal jewellery in bright colours and pumps for that effortless hippie-chic look.

A key ingredient in the season’s fashion delicacy is the ethnic Tavisha range that features rich geometric prints and motifs in happy pastels and hints of neon. ‘Floral Punch’, a feminine-inspired collection, features overlapping blouse fronts, ombre tunics and lace panels in a pastel palette mixed with hues of fuchsia, jade and snorkel.

This season’s highlights include the introduction of Kimono blouse and digital placement print tops. One can also see the ‘Indigo look’ in a range of fabrics influenced by tie-and-dye techniques, ombres and denim.

In the men’s collection, the range draws inspiration from the sun, surf and sea. Shirts in summer pastels, ginghams, and vests in printed and neon stripes are the latest additions. While sun-bleached shorts are the season’s must-have, bedford cord shorts and over-dyed denim shorts in funky prints are other options to surf through. The ‘Aztec Troopers’ collection with tribal and quirky motifs, Scandinavian patterns, tattoo graphics and animal prints in earthen hues are the print trends this season.

The ‘Tropical Varsity’ range has styles with varsity stripes combined with floral infused prints and water colour splashes that create a refreshingly quirky look. The brand has also teamed other looks that feature light weight crew next tees and scoop neck tees with skinny chinos and arc-legged trousers into the newest additions.

The kids’ wear consists

of playful fresh colour combinations, prints and shapes, with updated but familiar summer silhouettes. The brand offers customers a one- stop-shop for clothing, accessories and footwear needs for the entire family and the newest collection sees energy and excitement of summer brought alive by playful and creative prints.
