Kiran, Sharath spur Mount Joy

BUCC lose by an innings and 66 runs

A century each by Kiran AM and Sharath BR and five-wicket hauls by Raman MN and Anil IG helped Mount Joy Cricket Club score a thumping innings and 66-run win over Bangalore United Cricket Club (1) in the KSCA Group I, Division II league for the MAT Acharya Shield here.

BUCC were skittled for 159 in their first innings with Raman (2/43) and Anil (3/36) sharing five wickets between them. Mount Joy, in reply, declared their innings at 339/9 on the back of Kiran (125) and Sharath (103). Needing to score 181 to make Mount Joy bat again, BUCC batsmen faltered against to be dismissed for 114. Raman (3/27) and Anil (3/12) once again were the pick of bowlers.
