The NGOs and individuals named in the Intelligence Bureau report submitted to the PMO for their alleged role in stalling development projects on Friday dismissed the claims. They also denied receiving foreign funds for their activities.
The NGOs accused the IB of trying to “intimidate” and “discourage popular movements”.
Human rights organisation PUCL issued a statement. Admiral Ramdaus, columnist Praful Bidwai, anti-nuclear activist Udayakumar denied the charges during a press conference.
