<p>Former union minister Veerappa Moily on Wednesday said the NDA government’s move to seek the resignation of UPA-appointed governors went against the Supreme Court order of 2010.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the order stated that governors cannot be summarily removed just because of a change in the government at the Centre.Governor H R Bhardwaj who is in New Delhi, will return to Bangalore on June 21.<br /><br />According to Raj Bhavan sources, Bhardwaj who met President Pranab Mukherjee has decided to continue with his earlier schedule of staying in the national capital till Saturday.<br /><br />Bhardwaj had on Tuesday stated that there was no question of him resigning from the Governor’s post till the completion of his tenure. Bhardwaj’s five-year tenure ends on June 29.</p>
