Available with a 7-seater or 9-seater seating capacity, the car comes with a warranty of two years or 75,000 Kilometres, the company said.

The car is powered by 2.2 litre DICOR engine fitted with a variable geometry turbocharger which delivers a maximum power & torque of 120 PS and 250 NM respectively.

Briefing reporters, Tata Motors Limited Senior Vice-President (commercial & passenger car business) S Krishnan said “unlike the previous models of Sumo, we have put in concentrated efforts to make this one appeal to the urban popluation. And we expect it to help us increase our volumes by at aleast 30 per cent.”
