The carnival was filled with activities ranging from caricaturing to handwriting analysis, from nail art to hair braiding. The carnival was inaugurated by Rehman Khan, Vice Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and his wife Ayesha Rehman Khan. Children of all classes performed dances, grooving like professionals to various popular Kannada, Hindi and English songs.

The carnival brought together for the first time the children of Anubhava Shiksha Kendra, the school for underprivileged children supported by DPS. A section of the campus was transformed into a village mela, with stalls of pottery, parrot card reading and one selling Channapatna wood dolls. The props gave it the authentic village look. Children had the facility of dedicating flowers and could request songs dedicated for their friends, teachers and parents.

If one side of the field represented tradition, the other side was high end techno. There were games like paintball, X-Box 360, golf and soccer which catered to the sports and gadget crazy kids.

Lucky dips took place  every three hours and hampers were being given out. Children enjoyed games like roller coaster, break dance, columbus, merry-go-round and a small bumpy ride for the younger children.

The campus was dotted with numerous food stalls which satisfied every food craving. Children feasted on pizza, burgers, chaats, cold coffee, fruit juices, ice creams, pop corn, 'gola', sandwich and also cotton candy. The carnival is on till December 20.
