Metal statue recovered

Shivajinagar police recovered a metal statue of Anjaneyaswamy from one Shankar (35).

Police took Shankar of Begur in Hongasandra into custody when he was trying to sell the statue on OOH Road. The statue weighs 5.9 kg. Police said that the accused had not yet revealed where he had stolen the statue from.
