Congress MLC V S Ugrappa on Wednesday accused former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy of going against social justice by opposing the State Cabinet decision of rejecting the KPSC selection list of 2011.
Addressing a press conference, along with legislators M T B Nagaraj, Muniratna and Byrathi Basavaraj, Ugrappa wondered whether Kumaraswamy had “lost his mental balance” as he was speaking very lightly about the Congress leaders.
Legal proceedings
The legislators said the party would initiate legal proceedings against Kumaraswamy if he continued with his tirade.
They said the government had taken the right decision by rejecting the list, as the CID investigation had proved that there was prima facie evidence of malpractice and corruption in the selection process. MLC H M Revanna said chief minister Siddaramaiah had rejected the list despite the fact that included 42 Kurubas, a community to which the chief minister belonged.
