94 Koraga families get job card under MGREGS

Speaking at an interaction programme on MGREGS and development of Koragas at Bantwal Taluk Panchayat Office premises, Rai said that officials should distribute title deeds to land possessed by Koragas and help them develop in their life. He said that MGREGS is a revolutionary scheme, which must be implemented efficiently.

Taluk Panchayat vice-president Chandrahas Karkera, executive officer Vasantharaj Shetty, Jana Shikshana Trust directors Sheena Shetty, Krishna Moolya and Horticulture Department assistant director Sanjeeva Naik among others were present.

It was decided at the programme that jobs should be provided to 177 Koraga families in the taluk under the NREGS by December 30.
