JOIN USTwo separate chain-snatchings were reported under HSR Layout and RMC Yard police station limits on Friday morning.
In Araluru near HSR Layout, 62-year-old Sarojini was returning home at 8 am after purchasing groceries when two unidentified bike-borne men approached her from behind, snatched her 80-gm gold chain and sped away.
In the other incident, two miscreants, also on a bike, snatched two gold chains from a man who was waiting for a bus near the Outer Ring Road near Goraguntepalya.
The RMC Yard police said that Thimme Gowda, 55, operator at a private factory and resident of Goraguntepalya, was waiting near ORR to board a bus for Hassan around 4.30 am when the miscreants approached him, asking directions to reach Kotigepalya. Then they snatched his two gold chains—weighing 25 gram and 15 gram—and fled the spot.
