<p>The Department of Telecom has extended permit period to sell international SIM cards to three years from one year earlier.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“The No Objection Certification (NOC) shall be issued initially for a period of three years and shall be renewed on the request of company for further period of three years,” states a DoT circular on sale or renting international roaming SIM cards or global calling cards.<br /><br />Earlier, companies that sell or rent international sim cards were required to take NOC every year.</p>
