Fire at major business hubs in Delhi

Two busy commercial establishments in the national capital went up in flames on Monday, leaving fire fighters battling the inferno for hours and four of them with minor injuries. No other casualties were reported from the two incidents.

One fire outbreak at Connaught Place around 7.50 am left four fire fighters with injuries that were sustained mostly while trying to gain entry into the building.

Hours later, in another blaze in a four-storey commercial building at Chandni Chowk, a woman customer sustained burns on her face and limbs when a “faulty” transformer came crashing down.
