Talking about issue of former BJP MP Basanagowda Patel Yatnal, Gowda said that the party has suspended him for engaging in anti-party activities. “Those who follow Yatnal’s footsteps will also have to meet the same fate,” he warned.

Responding to the reports of dissidence of some BJP leaders against Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa’s functioning, Gowda said “all issues will be sorted out amicably through dialogues.”

Criticising Congress leaders, Gowda said, “those who were confined to indoors after their party (Congress) suffered setback in the election are now rejoicing the victory of UPA at the Centre.”

“Let Congress leaders work to find solution to State’s problems, instead of criticising the government,” he added.
