Family fiesta, a furniture and consumer fair at Shree Kanteerava stadium displayed consumer electronics, furniture and handicraft.
The main attraction of this fair was the display of the longest castle cake model created by the baker Himanbindhu along with 30 others. All the visitors to the exhibition had to certainly leave their diet at the doors since the cake comprised of 1000 kg of sugar, 500 eggs, 200 kg chocolate and 100 kg sweet gel.
The ‘Mummy, Daddy and kids’ yatra’ exhibition at the Palace Grounds also had some unique things in store for their visitors. At a time when the world leaders are discussing climate change, the Energy Management Inc. displayed the world’s largest energy saver light bulb which consumes almost 75 per cent less energy than any ordinary light.
The world’s biggest 103 inch plasma tv costing Rs 30 lakh was also unveiled here. Also on display was ‘Eznotetaker’, a light weight portable device that can capture hand written notes, sketches and diagrams which can then be transferred to the computer. Apart from this there were free beauty makeovers, gaming zones and furniture, cosmetics and jewellery.
Both the exhibitions that started on December 23 will conclude on December 27.
