Raghav Bhandari shot the best round of the day -- a two-under 69 -- to move into third place, just one stroke behind the leaders. Bangalore’s S Chikkarangappa improved on his first-round performance by six shots, but despite the par-71 is still five shots back in fifth place. Manu Gandas held on to the lead in Category B (U-15) after carding a three-over 75. At seven-over 149, he is six shots clear of second-placed Honey Baisoya, who shot a 78.
Jairaj Singh Sandhu climbed to top spot alongside Feroze Garewal in Category C (U-12), both players tied at 16-over 158. Jaiveer Singh leads Aadil Bedi and Arjun Prasad by a stroke in Category D (U-10) after submitting a card of 13-over 84.
