HDK offers puja to goddess Chamundi

Former chief minister and Janata Dal (Secular) MLA H D Kumaraswamy on Thursday payed obeisance at the Goddess Chamundeshwari temple at Chamundi Hill in the city.

He was later re-nominated as the president of the party's State unit.Reacting to media queries ahead of his renomination, Kumaraswamy said, "I am ready to take up the responsibility and will abide by the decision of the senior leaders. I am also aware that my name was also doing rounds along with other probables in the party."

On the recent outbursts of fellow legislators Basavaraj Horatti and Zameer Ahmed Khan, Kumaraswamy said, "They have differences with me, but it will all be sorted out soon."
