The world’s third largest comedy festival, the Melbo­urne International Comedy Festival (MICF), which is hosting its latest season, will present the RAW Comedy India Season 3, across the subcontinent this November, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. The comedy talent hunt aims to discover the ‘comedian’ in you and showcase the best talent to the audience.

In recent years, MICF along with Teamwork Arts has successfully created a popular platform for budding Indian comics to showcase their talent in the MICF RAW Comedy. The winner of MICF RAW Comedy gets a chance to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia on an all-expenses-paid trip in April 2015.

This year the festival brings to India, the best of international comedy via the best talent from the Australian comedy festival in the ‘MICF Roadshow’. Top international comedians, namely, Ronny Chieng, Kate Mclennan, ElbowSkin, Nish Kumar, Rohan Desai and David Williams will perform at the MICF Roadshow in Delhi, this year.

MICF RAW Comedy will be judged by the cast of the Roadshow i.e Dave Williams, Kate Mclenan, Nish Kumar, Elbow Skin and Ronny Cheing. The cast will also hold workshops prior to the competition for the RAW Comedy participants.

The RAW Comedy show in Delhi kicks off on November 18 at Fat Lulu, VasantVihar. Competition amongst the RAW Comedy National Finals on November 19 at Fat Lulu. The MICF Roadshow will take place on November 21 and 22 at the Summer House Café, Hauz Khas Village.
