Boy beaten up, dies

  The student has been identified as Supreet Durgannavar native of Khavatkopp village from Athani taluk.

Victim’s father Jayanand Durgannavar has alleged that hostel warden and teacher Uma and Parvati assaulted his son leading to his death. Earlier too they had assaulted him a few times, he stated.

With blood coming oozing out from his nose and mouth Supreet was found in an unconscious state in the hostel. On Friday, when he was taken to the hospital for treatment he was declared brought dead.
